Wakefield Community Access Television is a public forum for all residents, businesses and organizations. WCAT provides training and access to telecomunications equipment so that all may become participants in electronic media. WCAT strives to involve the diverse members of the Wakefield community as producers and viewers, and to strengthen efforts though a wide variety of collaborations with community institutions.

Government Channel

The Government channel can be found on Comcast channel 16, RCN channel 3, and Verizon FIOS channel 42.

Public Channel

The Public channel can be found on Comcast channel 3, RCN channel 13, and Verizon FIOS channel 40.

WCAT is located at the rear of Wakefield High School

From Boston and Points South:

Take Rte I-95\128 (N) to Exit 39 (North Ave) Bear right at bottom of ramp. You will go 2.5 miles thru 4 traffic lights. The road ends in front of Wakefield High. Take a quick right and then an immediate left onto Hemlock Rd In rear parking lot- WCAT doors have awnings

From Points North

Take Rte 128 (S) to Exit 39 (North Ave) Turn left at bottom of ramp. Go under the highway. You will go 2.5 miles thru 6 traffic lights. The road ends in front of Wakefield High. Take a quick right and then an immediate left onto Hemlock Rd In rear parking lot- WCAT doors have awnings Wakefield Community Access Television

From Saugus/Revere

Take the Main Street Wakefield exit off of Route 1; Follow Main Street through four sets of lights. At top of hill it becomes Farm Street Wakefield, stay on the road until you reach Wakefield Memorial High School and then take a right just before the high school and take third driveway on left (at athletic field). WCAT entry is under the awning at the bottom of the parking lot.
